A New Look!

Love, love, love the new color of our family room!!!
DD Randi suggested grey for this room (she had 'rockport grey' by Ben Moore picked out) so I brought home some samples and DD Megan helped me decide on 'rolling pebble' (by Behr)!
The paint is still a little wet above(and ignore the flowered couch, it's going!) but you can see the big improvement from the 'medieval gold'!!
The 'rolling pebble' really coordinates with the 'baguette' color that I have on the upstairs walls and the stair well which flows down to the family room!!

It's such a good feeling to have clean carpets and fresh walls!!

I'll have to update after I get the room pulled together and some what decorated!!

...more bracelets!

Finished up a few more....
.....I'm having fun hunting for old buttons!!
They remind me of my mom and grandma
.....and all the sewing they did!
I love digging through old buttons!
They sure don't make them like they use to!

Crocheted Bracelets!

My latest project(s) has been these bracelets!!
A SI from Colorado has a friend who wanted one made from a bracelet a client of hers had. So in a round about way I ended up with the bracelet and came up with these!

They are so fun and have made great gifts!
I have some ideas in my head for some variations.
I'll share when I have a few done!!
(I just added the turquoise one above, it's for DD#1, better get it in the mail since she may see it here! The button is redder than it looks here.)

Oh!!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Two Days With Eli!

Last week I spent 2 days with Eli while his mommy went to Arizona on business!
All I can say is that the time with him was priceless!
Look at this precious face!

I had forgotten how busy a 15 month old can be. If he wasn't eating or sleeping he was moving non stop! So fun!! I'm looking forward to the next time that I can have Eli all to my self again.

LEAGUE CHAMPS!

Back in January I told about Tim joining the new adult hockey league here in Willmar.
Well, today was the championship game(s)! Papa Wheelies won both games(double elimination)! What a thrill for the guy's to be the champs the first year of the league!

The proud Papa's!

WORDS FOR THOUGHT

A small church across the street from our post office has a small billboard that they post simple (thought provoking) quotes on.
Years ago they posted:
Let your life speak
more loudly
than your lips.
I love this....it says so much!
Or...we can say so much by not saying a thing!
This week I noticed their latest quote:
If there is to be
peace in the home
there must be
peace in the heart.
I wish this for everyone!
For all my dear family and friends who are finding themselves in turmoil with issues in their control (and out of their control)!
I wish you peace!
