While in Arizona a couple of weeks ago, with 9+ friends, I ended up teaching 5 of the ladies how to knit! We made a trip to Hobby Lobby and soon I had them knitting dish cloths! Now back home we got together last Wednesday evening for a 'knit night' and have made plans for more 'knit nights'! It is so fun for me to see them really enjoy the hobby I have loved for 44 years!
I have seen the ladies become comfortable holding the needles, or sticks as Tami calls them!! hehe
And to have them try new projects and techniques!

I did that with a couple friends for a year or so ... almost every week, dinner and knitting (or crocheting).
We called ourselves the Happy Hookers. :)
